It looks like face art, but the Qi Beauty Matrix is much more functional than fodder for a photo. To learn more, we spoke to Brooke Taylor, founder of The Road, where they offer a combination of East meets West treatments that leave their guests feeling as good on the inside as they look on the outside.
She explains this specific treatment “is a unique skin recovery method that combines principles of acupuncture points and meridians in combination with magnetic therapy. The treatment was designed not only with aesthetic benefits in mind but also overall health."
Brooke delves deeper to explain, “We place 1000 small, 24-carat gold-plated magnets directly on the skin in a unique configuration called The Matrix. The type of Matrix used is individually tailored to your specific skin needs, no two treatments are ever the same. Once placed on the skin, the magnets communicate between each other, creating a controlled Static Magnetic Field, activating skin regeneration on a cellular and quantum level. We are working with the facial landscape to correct imbalances and restore homeostasis in the skin and even the underlying muscle. The Qi beauty practitioner is skilled in the Art of Qi to customize the treatment to lift, re-densify and re-connect faulty signaling for pro-health age control.”
Once the matrix is in place, they’re left on for about 20 minutes. Brooke says, “Most people find this highly relaxing and often drift off during the placement phase.” Afterward, she says people will immediately notice “a brightening and luminosity from within tissues, reduction in lines, fullness of skin where there was crepe around the eyes or cheeks, and a visible improvement in the tone and appearance of skin.”
